Antenna De-Ice Systems
De-ice systems for satellite antennas prevent snow and ice accumulation on the reflector, feed, and radome. Using active heating (reflector heating pads, feed/LNB heaters, sub-reflector de-icing) or conditioned radomes, they maintain link budget and availability year-round—even under heavy snow and icing conditions.
Engineering-grade solutions provide uniform heat distribution, accurate temperature control, and low power consumption, thereby reducing gain loss, VSWR degradation, and outages. Options cover fixed teleports, VSAT, maritime terminals, and large Ka/Ku/C/X-band antennas, with retrofit kits, environmental sensors, and SNMP-enabled controllers.
