RF analyzers and test receivers measure HF power. Compact stand-alone power meters with USB ports are a cost-effective alternative for low-complexity measurement tasks. For power measurement in systems or on assemblies, EMCO offers zero-bias detectors - with coaxial connections or as drop-in (see RF components).
Product Overview:
The PMM 6630 is an RF power sensor with an USB interface. It works in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 3 GHz and measures power from 100 nW to 1 W (-40 to +30 dBm).
The parameters for performance measurement are set by software, which also reads and analyzes the measurement data. Working with an USB power sensor is efficient and economical, especially when many measurements are controlled by software anyway.
The Model LSPM 1.0 covers a frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz and the LSPM 2.0 covers a frequency range of 9 kHz to 26.5 GHz.Both power meters are available with 3, 2 or 1 channel. Multiple LSPM devices can be hardware synchronized to create measurement systems with a virtually unlimited number of power meter channels. Synchronization can be extended to LSProbe systems.
