The Loop Test Translator is an extremely high quality tool for checking the operation of satellite ground stations. Ground-to-orbit communications can be analyzed, adjusted and tested without stressing the satellite or even disrupting running satellite applications.

The loop test translators are used in the development, monitoring and maintenance of satellite ground stations. The base loop test translator simulates the role of the satellite: It contains a mixer and a local oscillator to translate the ground-orbit transmit frequency into the ground-orbit receive frequency.

ETL loop test translators support the satellite communication bands S, C, IF band.
