PMM / Narda ER9000 & ER8000 – Ultra-Fast CISPR 16-1-1 Compliant EMI Receivers

The ER9000 and ER8000 FFT EMI receivers from PMM / Narda Safety Test Solutions combine extreme measurement speed, high accuracy and attractive cost in a compact instrument. They are fully CISPR 16-1-1 compliant and cover the frequency range from 10 Hz up to 3 GHz, with options for a built-in LISN and touchscreen display.

ER9000 Series – 10 Hz to 3 GHz

The ER9000 series is designed for conducted and radiated emission measurements:

• ER9000/00: 10 Hz – 30 MHz
• ER9000/01: 10 Hz – 3 GHz
• Internal CW generator and CISPR pulse generator
• Color touchscreen display
• Battery or mains operation
• Direct analogue-to-digital conversion up to 30 MHz
• Combination of EMI receiver and spectrum analyzer
• Gapless FFT processing for extremely fast measurement times

ER8000 Series – 9 kHz to 3 GHz

The ER8000 series adds an integrated 16 A LISN for mains-conducted emission measurements:

• ER8000/00: 9 kHz – 30 MHz
• ER8000/01: 9 kHz – 3 GHz
• Built-in 16 A artificial mains network (LISN)

Standards, Speed and Software

• Compliant with CISPR 16-1-1, MIL-STD-461, ANSI C63.2 and FCC
• Compliant with CISPR 14-1 together with the PMM CA0010 Click Analyzer
• Very fast measurement times (e.g. Band B ≈ 2 s; Bands C+D ≈ 1 min)
• User port for control of external devices (LISN, antenna mast, turntable)
• Up to 140 dBµV (2 W) maximum input level
• Rugged, compact construction
• PES PMM “Emission Suite” software with “Smart Detector” function included
