New at EMCO: Reference Noise & Signal Sources from Eurofins E&E (formerly York EMC)

Eurofins E&E (formerly York EMC) introduces a new generation of reference noise and signal sources. These devices are designed for verification and validation of conducted and radiated measurement systems and for characterizing test environments such as anechoic chambers.

Compact, lightweight & battery-powered

The new signal sources feature an ultra-compact design (85 × 85 × 85 mm³) and a low weight of just 0.8 kg. With internal rechargeable batteries, they can operate fully independently, ensuring flexibility for laboratory and field use. Multiple antenna and coupling adapter sets are available to suit diverse EMC testing applications.

Model overview

  • Model YRS 04 – frequency range 1 kHz–1 GHz for conducted measurements (50 Ω systems) and 500 kHz–1 GHz for radiated tests.
  • Model YRS 05 – frequency range 25 Hz–6 GHz for conducted (50 Ω) and 500 kHz–6 GHz for radiated measurements, supplied with monopole and monocone antennas.

Reliable reference for accurate testing

A reference noise or signal source from Eurofins E&E is an essential component for any EMC test laboratory. It ensures measurement reproducibility and enables early fault detection within the test system.
