Overview:

The 2010 Issue 2 of EMCO Elektronik News highlights global partnerships, technical reliability and hands-on expertise. Following its participation at the MTT-S Microwave Symposium in California, EMCO introduces new RF components, bit pattern generators and high-efficiency amplifier modules tailored for EMC and RF professionals.

Context:

In today’s fast-paced communication era, EMCO Elektronik strengthens its reputation through direct collaboration with partners like TRU Corporation, ETS-Lindgren, PicoSecond Pulse Labs, Amplifier Technology and MDL. These alliances drive innovation and deliver high-performance solutions — from precision interconnects to GaN power amplifiers and microwave rotary joints.

Key Highlights:

  • TRU Corporation – advanced coaxial cable assemblies and connectors for high-power EMC testing up to 1000 MHz, including custom assemblies and measurement support.
  • ETS-Lindgren – four new conical horn antennas (4–26.5 GHz) delivering 16.5–25 dBi gain for uniform field generation and linear polarization.
  • PicoSecond Pulse Labsbit pattern generators (12000–12060 series) up to 20 Gb/s and 8020B tester for multi-lane SERDES validation up to 25 Gb/s.
  • Amplifier Technology – new GaN amplifier modules up to 6 GHz with >50 % efficiency and excellent thermal stability up to +85 °C.
  • MDL Microwave Development Labs – compact WR28 waveguide rotary joint up to 30 GHz with VSWR < 1.3 : 1 and < 0.3 dB insertion loss.

Bottom Line:

EMCO Elektronik continues to evolve – combining global relationships, advanced technology and robust RF solutions to serve engineers, laboratories and communication systems worldwide.
