EMV 2020 in Cologne – New Partnerships, Technologies & System Integration

Overview:

The 2020 Issue 1 of EMCO Elektronik News opens a new decade with innovation, growth and partnerships. Under the theme “Et kütt, wie et kütt” (It comes as it comes), EMCO showcases new amplifier systems, software tools and fiber-optic solutions for EMC and RF testing, alongside its long-standing partners PRÂNA, NEXIO, ETS-Lindgren and Haefely.

Context:

With nearly 30 years of experience, EMCO Elektronik continues to deliver advanced EMC test systems, combining precision, automation and reliability. At the new EMV 2020 trade fair in Cologne, EMCO presents its expanded product portfolio – covering software-controlled testing, broadband amplifiers, shielded camera systems and linear AC/DC amplifiers for research and industrial laboratories.

Key Highlights:

  • Pontis EMC – new EMC-hardened camera & audio systems and fiber-optic links (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, USB, BroadR, HDMI), tested up to 200 V/m.
  • Haefely – now part of the Pfiffner Group; Swiss-made EMC immunity test systems for Burst, Surge, ESD and Magnetic Field testing.
  • Exodus AMP2034A – compact Ultra-Broadband GaN amplifier (20 MHz–6 GHz, 20 W) with built-in protections and optional digital control.
  • AE Techron – new Linear AC/DC amplifiers (up to 20 kVA per phase) offering high power bandwidth, 4-quadrant operation and precision signal replication.
  • PRÂNA – comparison Class-A vs. Class-AB: Class-A amplifiers excel in mismatch tolerance, linearity and harmonic suppression (>20 dBc) for EMC use.
  • NEXIOBAT-ELEC and BAT-EMI Automotive by Band software modules for transient, pulse and EMI testing; advanced report generation and worst-case analysis.

Bottom Line:

EMCO Elektronik begins the new decade with confidence – strengthening its position as a full-system provider for EMC and RF testing through partnerships, innovation and proven engineering expertise.
