JQL Technologies cavity lowpass filters are passive RF filters designed to transmit lower-frequency signals while attenuating higher-frequency components outside the specified passband.
JQL offers several standard configurations with different passbands, insertion loss, rejection, return loss, temperature ranges and RF connectors. The currently documented JFCL models cover passbands from 10 MHz up to 500 MHz, as well as specific frequency ranges within this spectrum.
In addition to standard references, JQL supports custom filter design. Design parameters can include filter type, frequency band, insertion loss, rejection and isolation.
Advantages
- Cavity filter technology for frequency-selective RF signal paths
- Different passbands for various RF applications
- Insertion loss from 0.9 dB on appropriately specified standard models

- Models with SMA and N connectors
- Operating temperature ranges down to −40 to +85 °C on appropriately specified models
- Custom design for application-specific filtering requirements
- Technical support from EMCO for product selection and specification matching

Additional information
Selection of the appropriate lowpass filter primarily depends on the required passband, acceptable insertion loss, required rejection, return loss, temperature range and RF interface.
For requirements that cannot be addressed by a standard reference, JQL provides custom-design capabilities. Key electrical filter parameters can be adapted to the specific system requirements.
EMCO Elektronik supports the technical selection of suitable JQL lowpass filters and the matching of filter parameters to the specific RF or microwave application. This includes evaluating frequency range, insertion loss, rejection, RF interface and integration requirements.
