The BM800xx series includes 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, 6-way, 8-way and 12-way power dividers, as well as resistive 2-way power dividers. Depending on the model, frequency ranges from DC to 40 GHz and BNC, SMA, N, TNC or 2.92 mm connectors are available.
The BM800xx product family comprises coaxial power dividers for distributing an RF or microwave signal across multiple output ports. The available models cover frequency ranges from DC to 40 GHz.
The series includes 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, 6-way, 8-way and 12-way power dividers, as well as models explicitly identified as resistive 2-way power dividers. Selection can therefore begin with the required number of signal paths and then be refined according to frequency range, connector and VSWR.
Depending on the reference, configurations with BNC, SMA, N, TNC or 2.92 mm connectors are available.
Advantages
- Different divider types: versions with 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 12 output ports.

Typical applications
- Splitting an RF or microwave signal across multiple measurement channels.
- Distributing a signal or reference generator across multiple test paths.
- Multi-channel laboratory, development and test bench configurations.
- Integration into automated RF and microwave test systems.
- Signal distribution in communication, radar and system test environments.
- Broadband signal splitting from DC using the resistive models.
Additional information
The first selection parameter is the required divider type or number of outputs. A 2-way power divider supports two signal paths, while 3-way, 4-way, 6-way, 8-way or 12-way models enable a larger number of parallel measurement, test or distribution paths.
The next consideration is the frequency range. Models starting at DC include the resistive power dividers and an additional DC-capable SMA version. For microwave applications, selected 2.92 mm models extend up to 40 GHz.
The connector type should match the existing system environment. BNC versions mainly cover lower RF frequencies and configurations with up to 12 outputs. SMA provides the broadest range of frequency and port configurations. N, TNC and 2.92 mm versions complement the family for corresponding interfaces and frequency ranges.
The resistive models BM80044 to BM80047 form a distinct group within the series. They are configured as 2-way power dividers, start at DC and extend to 12.4 GHz, 18 GHz or 26.5 GHz depending on the model.
EMCO supports the selection of the appropriate divider type, frequency range, output count, connector and VSWR for the intended RF or microwave application.
