Additional information
The GTEM EMC 750 - INOX operates with an electromagnetic field distribution in TEM mode. In this operating mode, the electric and magnetic field components are perpendicular to the propagation direction of the electromagnetic wave.
The technical panel provides shielded access to the internal test volume without contaminating the internal field. The panels are fully configurable to match specific input/output requirements, and two additional empty technical panels are available for future expansion.
The power filter section suppresses disturbances coming from the power supply line and also prevents disturbances generated by the DUT from returning to the mains line. Custom power line filters are available for specific requirements.
The shielded door uses two rows of metal mesh gaskets. When the door is closed, the gasket is mechanically compressed to prevent contamination of the internal field. The door can include a shielded window made of polycarbonate glass incorporating a fine meshed metal foil.
The area opposite the tip of the GTEM cell is fitted with pyramidal RF absorbers. This graphite-loaded absorber material absorbs the RF field and is built from replaceable 3x3 tiled pyramid panels.
Because of its size and weight, the GTEM EMC 750 is shipped disassembled in shock-resistant packaging and assembled on-site by professional personnel.
