The GTEM EMC 500 is a GTEM cell for electromagnetic compatibility measurements over a frequency range from 100 kHz to 20 GHz. As a Giga-hertz Transversal Electro-Magnetic cell, it operates as a TEM waveguide and enables radiated emission and immunity measurements in a compact, controlled measurement environment.

With a maximum input power of 250 W, a nominal impedance of 50 Ω and a typical VSWR of 1:1.2, the GTEM EMC 500 is suitable for EMC, EMI and EMS test setups in R&D, laboratory and precompliance environments.

Additional information

The GTEM EMC 500 operates with an electromagnetic field distribution in TEM mode. In this operating mode, the electric and magnetic field components are perpendicular to the propagation direction of the electromagnetic wave.

The GTEM cell is designed for fully configurable feed thrus and filters. Available options include fiber optic leads, filtered RS-232 pass-thrus, RF feed-thrus, shielded RJ45 feed-thrus, power line filters, electrical safety interlock, technical panel, power socket for EUT and shielded IP camera system.

For the GTEM EMC 500, the VPOS option is available. It enables vertical positioning with plastic table over absorbers and 90° turned door position.
