The SHC-MOBILE M from EMCTEST Technologies is a Portable Shielded Chamber for sensitive RF, microwave and telecom measurements over the frequency range from DC to 20 GHz. It is designed for small communication devices such as GSM, UMTS, TDMA, CDMA, AMPS, PCS, WiFi and Bluetooth devices.
The chamber combines a ruggedized fully INOX steel construction with a compact and flexible design. It is suitable for measurement tasks requiring repeatable RF shielding, defined DUT accommodation and application-specific interfaces.

Additional information
The SHC-MOBILE M is designed for small communication devices and provides a controlled measurement environment for RF testing. The interior can optionally be equipped with RF plain absorbers providing typical RF attenuation of -90 dB at 3 GHz. This configuration is particularly suitable for 2.4 GHz testing.
Input and output connections can be adapted to the application through a modular technical panel. Available options include USB, RS-232, RJ-45, RJ-11, RF feedthroughs with SMA, N or BNC, fiber optic feedthrough, Log/Omni antennas, a shielded window, a shielded glove, internal anechoic walls, a technical panel and an internal antenna.
The unit can host line filters for AC and DC power supplies up to 1000 V. EMCO supports technical users in selecting and configuring suitable shielded chambers for RF, microwave, telecom, EMC and pre-compliance applications, as well as in integrating them into existing test and measurement environments.
