Clamp-on probes for measuring RF current on conductors. The probe output voltage is measured by an RF detector and converted to current via the supplied transfer impedance (Zt) calibration. Technique offers minimal loading and allows the DUT to operate normally during measurement.

Advantages

  • Wide frequency coverage from sub‑audio (10 Hz) into the GHz range (model dependent).
  • Traceable Zt curves delivered with each probe.
  • Multiple apertures & connectors (Type‑N / SMA) for lab flexibility.

Typical applications

  • Harness & PCB return current characterization.
  • Compliance debugging (emissions/immunity correlation).
  • Shielding effectiveness and filtering verification.
